This graphic t-shirt is inspired by Meeraji’s poem “gunahon se nash o numa pa gaya dil,” featuring the verse
“کئی راز پنہاں ہیں لیکن کھلیں گے / اگر حشر کے روز پکڑا گیا دل” — reflecting the idea of hidden truths revealed only under pressure.

The artwork draws from hand reflexology, where the heart is mapped to a sensitive point on the palm, marked here by a turquoise glowing orb beneath the middle finger. This visual parallel reinforces the poem’s suggestion that the heart’s secrets remain concealed until they are pressed into reckoning.

At the top of the illustration, the phrase “raseelay jaraim ki khushbu” anchors the piece to Meeraji’s language, translating poetic introspection into a symbolic, contemporary graphic form.Artwork by Maha Farooq.
