Created in collaboration with Aslam Saab, a fourth-generation block printer, this piece transcends time with its elephant and lion motifs, symbolizing the rich wildlife of the Mughal era.
The shirt is crafted from handwoven cotton, produced on a traditional handloom, and showcases a border inspired by opulent Mughal patterns. The motifs on this shirt come alive using blocks that are nearly a hundred years old, making each piece an archive of artisanal history. Complete with the Rastah patch logo on the front, this shirt is a blend of past and present, tradition and innovation.

Washing Instructions:
Hand wash with cold water and hang to dry. Machine wash is not advisable but if no other option available, please use cold water, wash separately. dry on low heat.

Block-Printing is an ancient Asian method of dyeing fabric. It involves intricately carving wooden blocks by hand and then using natural dyes to “print” onto the fabric. Block-printing is an environmentally friendly and durable technique we use on several pieces.
Handwoven fabrics are woven by hand by using a handloom. Handweaving produces zero pollution as it does not require electricity or any machinery. It is an artisanal craft that is inherently time-consuming. The outcome is timeless pieces of clothing built to last.
Patchwork involves handsewn patches of fabric that are then sewn onto our products. These patches are often block-printed as well. The result is a beautiful eye-catching patch that helps distinguish our pieces.
