A testament to artistry and craftsmanship, this silk jacket showcases the depth of traditional techniques seamlessly merged with contemporary design elements. Anchored by a black base, this jacket draws the eye with its experimental lapel collar and the ethereal beauty of its balloon sleeves.
The jacket pays homage to Aslam Saab's tapestry — a symbol of his legacy with Rastah and a testament to their enduring collaboration. With a central motif of six peacocks, surrounded by a cascade of intricate floral elements, the design speaks of tradition, beauty, and narrative. Each piece is sketched by hand before being transferred to fabric, ensuring a level of detail and precision that's unparalleled.
Handcrafted with meticulous detail by a group of skilled embroiderers at the Rastah atelier, each jacket is a result of 20-30 days of commitment and dedication. The jacket isn't just a piece of clothing but a story in itself, a narrative of tradition, hard work, and the beauty of handcrafted art.
