The north has always sent messages south — through trade routes, through music, through the people who carry both with them. Notes From The North is RASTAH's letter from those mountains: a tee that translates northern craft traditions into a language that moves through cities.
Built on a black jersey base, the shirt leads with a multi-head machine-embroidered front logo — each letter given depth and texture through layered thread passes. The back carries an embroidered artwork composition that references northern textile traditions in its pattern structure. Jute sublimation patches at the back add a third material register, a rougher surface that grounds the embroidery above it.
Black provides the silence that lets the embroidery speak. Multi-head embroidery at scale is rare on ready-to-wear — it carries the speed and precision of machine work with a thread density that reads almost tactile when you see it in person. The jute patches introduce an earthy material contrast that pulls the shirt toward the craft landscape it references.
